I made another Elisalex dress, in green velvet.
I actually made this last winter and I didn't know before I cut into the fabric that you should cut knit fabrics a size smaller. Oh well, live and learn. In hindsight it would make sense and I should've known, but you know. I also cut it in a size larger than what I should've been wearing at the time anyway, so I took a ton of excess in at the side seams, and you can tell. I also just hemmed the neckline instead of trying to do anything fancy (read: correct, or professional); so all of that said, this dress is far from perfect, but I love it regardless. It's a bit too hot for a Georgia summer, and it looks wintery, but I'm excited to start wearing again come fall.
