I've gone and made another sweater and some leggings. This sweater is one I designed for my shop (I started it while watching Lords of Dogtown, hence the name, don't judge me). It's made out of super soft pima cotton and is perfect for fall in the south, since it can go from really warm in the day to pretty cold at night, and this sweater is airy enough but also surprisingly warm.
I'm going to be adding another section to the website soon with the pattern for this sweater, the LMBRJCK hats, and the sweater I'm currently knitting for the shop, which is a wool one so that I can also have all of you northerners covered (pun intended). I know that there are probably some of you who would rather make this yourself than buy it, so I'm in the process of catering to that.
The leggings are simple enough, I drafted them based on my own measurements, since I haven't found a leggings pattern out there that is comfortable for me to wear. I drafted a fold-over waistband for these because I hate elastic. In hindsight, I should have sewn these tighter, they are quite loose after a couple of wears which I am attributing to the fact that they are a stiff ponte with no recovery at all. I had to take them in by over an inch at the knees after these photos were taken. I love them though, and I'm probably going to wear them all the time this winter, so I'm counting them as a success.
I hope you all have an awesome week and are enjoying the beginning of fall, wherever you are. Later!
